HOME BASED DOG GROOMING SERVICES (Located in Northwest Regina)
I provide a thorough bath for your dog that leaves them feeling and looking their best. I use quality shampoo and conditioner, Soos and Melanie Newman, as I feel my clients deserve the best! Bathing is followed by hand drying which ensures a quality finish to your dog's coat.
In between grooming appointments, if you feel your dog needs a bath at home, you MUST make sure the hair is free from tangles and mats prior to even thinking about getting him wet. If you get them wet before brushing, any mats and tangles will become even tighter with the shampoo and water.
This is why it is so important to brush them every 4-7 days. That way should your dog get caught in the rain or require an immediate bath, any matting or tangles will not be as difficult to remove and brushing will be less stressful on your dog.
If you find between regular grooming appointments your dog needs a bath, whether for a special occasion or just because, please contact me as I can sometimes fit in a regular customer for just a bath.
I am adept at all styles of grooming both long and short coats and will work with you to find the look best suited for your pet and your lifestyle.
Please note that I WILL NOT de-mat a dog. If is too painful for the dog. If the mats are too difficult to brush through they will be removed with clippers and I will attempt to leave the dogs as long as possible. Please remember it is only hair and it will grow back.
Nail trimming is included with each full grooming appointment. Regular clients may contact me for a trim in-between regular appointments if needed. Unfortunately, I do not offer nail trimming as an individual service.
Additionally, the expression of anal glads is considered to be a medical procedure and should only be performed by a Veterinarian or an Animal Health Technician who is under the direct or indirect supervision of a Vet. Please contact your Vet Clinic to have this procedure done for your dog.
